Problems with Publishing

Hey, Y'all,
Yes, I admit it! I am having problems accessing my own blog! I can't get anything but the brown background when I do the "Rubyndub.blogspot.com" and hit search. It takes me to "Blabbin' Grammy", but all I get is the background. It is about to drive me nuts (nuttier than usual). I have gone to the "help" section, and got no help there. Does anyone out there have any answers for me?

I can get to the individual posts, from the dashboard, and I can do this (create new posts, I can view them when I go to edit, but when I click on publish, it will say, "You have successfully published" but I cannot get to the blog when I click on "view Blog".

Does anyone else have this problem? How did you deal with it? Is it simply one of those glitches that come up occasionally? I can get to the individual posting from the "edit" listing, but when I get to the post, and click on "home" at the bottom of the posting, it takes me to the blank background. HELP, Please, anyone.

Thanks ever so much, if you can?

This is a frustrated, hair-pulling out, disgruntled Grammy. Bye for now. I will keep posting. Hope you all can access my blog better than I can. Love to you all. We will be headed into Knoxville for the afternoon, with the aforementioned coconut cream pie. Bye for now.

Hi Grammy, I had no trouble seeing it at all. I had the same thing happen to me not long ago when I tried to view mine right after publishing. I guess it cleared itself up because next time I published it was fine. Try clicking on "save" first and then view blog and see if it works.

check on who you're signed in as. I have a gmail account, and if I'm signed in on that, it shortsheets my attempts to access my own blog. If I log out and log back in as carolbennett@...., then it works.

Glitches are, sorry to say, part of computers. when all else fails, log out, reboot computer, and start again. :-)

SUGGESTION FOR NEXT MONDAY'S DINNER PARTY

Teriyaki Pork Chops

Chops: 1-1 1/4 " thick, boneless, center-cut

Sauce:

1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 tsp sesame oil
3 scallions, diced
1 tbsp garlic, chopped finely
2 tsp fresh ginger, chopped finely
Juice of one navel orange

Combine all ingredients in a large zip lock bag. Add 1" thick chops and mix well to cover. Adjust sauce quantity depending on # of chops.

Marinate in fridge for 6-24 hours prior to grilling. Let the meat sit at room temperature for 10 minutes prior to grilling. Grill for about 10 minutes per side IF THICK. Let chops rest 5 minutes before cutting.

Suggested sides: jasmine rice w/ sesame seeds, steamed broccoli.

Hi you all,
Thanks for all the help, and suggestions. I am glad no one had any trouble viewing the blog. That would Really frustrate me if they did!
To Carol, I only have one account and one sign in name, so that could not be it.
To Serbian Mink - I have no grill, and pork chops are characteristically tough, because the meat is so dense. Thanks for your suggestion, though. Any other suggestions would be welcome also. Thanks ever so much. Love to all of you.

Why Gwammy! I've never met a pork chop I couldn't chew!

okay, so instead of grilling them, marinate and put them in your crock pot for the day. i'd add a little water to it.

i also cook pork chops in the crock pot w/ a can of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup w/ roasted garlic and some sliced onion, cook 'em 6-8 hr and they melt in your mouth! no teeth necessary!

turned vern onto this when he and Steve were staying in Yuma and he made it every week. they love it. One More 4 U------>

Oven Baked Pork Chops or Chicken:

Wash and pat dry chops of chicken legs, thighs, etc.
Use a pastry brush to cover each side of the pieces with Dijon mustard or mayonnaise (your preference).
Then dunk each piece in a mixture of ground rosemary, grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder and corn-flake crumbs. Cook in oven on cookie sheet at 350 for 45 minutes.

I grind dried rosemary w/ a mortar and pestle and mix it with the other ingredients in a tin pie pan.

Fast and Easy!
