Peaceful Sunday

Hey, Y'all,
Today has been peaceful and not much going on. (Ha, I guess peaceful and not much going on are kind of synonymous, aren't they?)

Last night was kind of long, because Gramps couldn't quite settle down to sleep so I didn't sleep much either. I had to head out to the grocery store this morning and it was close to 10 a.m. before I got back home. Fortunately, Gramps was ready to get up when I got back. So we had breakfast and then I did the dishes and he went into the living room to read the Sunday newspapers.

By the way, Gramps had a really nice chat with our grandson, Daniel, and our daughter, Carol, after we got back home on Friday from eating out. He really enjoyed talking to both of them.

I had a nice long online talk with our daughter, Teresa, today and that really made my day.

Tomorrow, I have to go into Knoxville and have a chemical stress test at the cardiologist's, and I hope it will go well and that I won't be stressed out too much. Ha. Not that I need any more stress, you know. Maybe I could just tell him that I have already had my stress test for this year. Ha ha.

Well, that is about it for today. Not much shakin' around here this evening. Maybe I'll have more to share tomorrow. Hoping for a good night's sleep tonight.

Gramps says he really enjoys playing games with the speech therapist, Carol, and he looks forward to her coming to see him on Tuesday. We played a game that we own on Thursday called "Senior Moments". Most of the folks we know now, have those all the time. ha.

See you tomorrow. This is Blabbin' Grammy signing off for tonight. Bye for now. God bless each of you. Rest well.

It's been peaceful here today also, Grammy. I have cooked two meals and knitted on a sock the rest of the day. I finished the second sock and thought to myself..."I'm going to start another one." I got out my yarn and I couldn't find the end, and I have never seen such a tangles up mess. It took me two hours to get it straightened out. But I wasn't about to let it get the best of me. I told Bill, I would have rather made the sock that to untangle that mess of yarn. Oh well, now I'm too tired to knit, so I'm going to bed. See Ya tomorrow! Love, Clara

I had my 16 month old grandson on Saturday and all night. I felt like I had been run over by a little bitty train yesterday. lol.
He is never still. I hope the stress test goes good for you.
