Hello Out There

Hey, Y'all,
I feel like I am back in the Land of the Living...I was able to take a shower this morning, and rejoin life. I feel better now that I did, and am sure that those around me are going to appreciate my shower about as much as I.

Teresa is a wonderful help to me and has just kind of taken charge (which I truly appreciate). She has put a roast into the crock pot for our supper and has been up since at least 6 a.m. this morning. We are both sitting in my computer/craft/sewing/workroom and she is doing her work using her laptop. Isn't technology wonderful? She can sit here in my room, using a laptop that is hooked up through my internet modem, which is connected to a satellite, and the laptop material is from her workplace in Alabama. Amazing!

My incisions are doing well (she tells me). I haven't looked at them and really don't think I want to.

I talked to Carol and she seems to be feeling better, but not really out of the woods yet.

I have not yet had my breakfast and my stomach is calling me an idiot and says, "Where's the food?" I did want to get online and let you all know that I am much improved and can now walk upright, instead of bent over, clutching at my stomach.
My night's sleep last night was really good and I only awakened once about 3:30 for my early morning visit to the john. Went back to bed then, grasped my extra pillow and tucked it under my stomach, and went back to sleep.

Well, that is about it for right now. I'd like to thank Carol and Teresa for filling in for me on my blog. Aren't they just the best?

This is Blabbin' Grammy signing off for now. More later. Thank you again for all the prayers and well-wishes. Love to all of you. Bye for now.
