Happy Birthday, Andrew!

Hey, Y'all,
Our grandson, Andrew, has a birthday on Friday, April 10. Andrew and his lovely wife, Julia, live in Texas and have a beautiful little girl, Alyssa, who is about 7 months old. We love them all so very much and have not yet seen Alyssa. We are hoping to see them some time this summer. Happy Birthday, Andrew! If you would like to see pictures of them, go to the link on my blog that is in Julia's name.

Yesterday, we had a wonderful time when Mark, Allie, and Jennifer came to eat with us. We had vegetable beef soup, cornbread, and apple dumplings with ice cream. A very simple meal it was, but very enjoyable. After supper, we cleared off the table, put the dishes in the dishwasher and played Aggravation. We laughed a lot and just generally relaxed.

I watched the last few minutes of American Idol after they left and saw one of my favorites (Scott) get kicked off the show. He was such a sweet boy and has such a beautiful voice.

Today, I spent some time on Will's quilt and got the first row finished and am ready to put the second row on. I will probably get the second row stitched on tomorrow. We are also going in to Knoxville for lunch and our Friday movie. I already have it picked out and in my purse.

Not much else shakin' around here. This is Blabbin' Grammy signing off for today. Love to all of you. Bye for now.

I'm glad you enjoyed Mark, Allie and Jennifer. Sounds like fun to me. I had a good time yesterday too. I mowed my yard! LOL but it just felt good to be outside. Happy Easter to you and your family!

I liked Scott, too, Grammy, and hated to see him go. Happy Birthday to Andrew today. Sounds like you had a good time with Mark and Allie. Have a good weekend.
