Happy Birthday to Noah and Ben!

Hey, Y'all,
Today is the birthday of two of my favorite people in the world! Of course, all my family are favorites (not to show any partiality)...Our Noah (my great grandson) and grandson Ben, our Emily's husband, celebrate their birthday anniversaries today.

Daniel and Whitney are in town with their four children for the funeral of Whitney's grandmother, Grandma Jean, who passed away this past week. The family is gathering at Grandpa Bob's this evening for some quality time together before the services tomorrow. (Probably pictures to follow of tonight's family gathering on tomorrow's post).

As regarding the temperatures (for those of you following this) today is the 20th straight day for 100 degrees and 100+. I keep hoping for rain...the grass is dying regardless of the sprinkler system, but when rain comes, it will come back. The temps are supposed to be hitting 102-103-104 in the next seven days.

You can probably guess, there is not a lot going on right now. I am staying inside as much as possible. No scintillating thoughts to publish. ha ha. I'm going to heat up my left-over gravy and biscuits in a few minutes and make some fresh coffee, and then finish it all off with a couple of pieces of cantaloupe. While I am eating, I will be listening to country music and reading a mystery book. Life is good...God is great and people are crazy...

This is Blabbin' Grammy signing off for now. Much love to each of you, my friends and family. More later. Bye for now.

My grass, veggies, and flowers like the rain better too. The almost daily rain caused them to grow like crazy, and now they don't know what to do in all that scorching heat.

But you're right, Grammy, God is good! And because He's good, life is good with more mercies and blessings than we could ever count!
