Ahhh...Clean Floors

Hey, Y'all,
Well, this day is almost over...and I didn't go out this morning for my gravy and biscuits, but maybe tomorrow. I think it hit 105 here today, and it really felt like it when I took the throw rugs outside to shake them out.

I decided yesterday that I would probably mop my floors today, so when I got up this morning, I went ahead and had my breakfast at home, so that a great deal of my morning would not be wasted going out for breakfast. Somehow, it is easier to work here at home if I stay focused.

Consequently, I did the floors in stages, alternating with spending time on the computer, and so this evening, my floors (all six rooms and two bathrooms) have been cleaned. Yahoo!

Tomorrow, the laundry gets done. In fact, I may put a load into the washer this evening. That would help get it done, right? Tomorrow, I may do the breakfast out thing...that would be okay, wouldn't it? ha ha. After all, I have not been out for a meal since Monday afternoon.

Does it sound like I am rambling on here? Gee, I guess I am, but I am just talking to friends, right? Hey, I got the furniture dusted this week, too. I may get my bed linens put on tomorrow, too. Did you know that if you fold a light weight blanket in two on the unmade bed, you can climb in between the layers and sleep just as well as if you had sheets on the bed? Really... it works for me.  Who's to be here to know it?? No body. Only you, and I'm sure you won't tell anyone, will you. ha ha.

Well, that is about it for right now. This is Blabbin' Grammy signing off for today. More later. Much love to each of you, my friends and family. Bye for now.

I enjoy reading about your day...maybe somehow you remind me of my mom a little and I miss her. Thanks for letting us into your life! :-)

My, you do have hot weather, here it's pleasantly cloudy with a hint of sun......not like summer but think I prefer that to 105 degrees.
Take care.
Yvonne.

Doing floors in stages, alternating with time on the computer sounds great, except I think I would get stuck on the computer and my floors would never get done. You have great discipline! And no, I won't tell about the missing bed sheets. You deserve to go out and eat, my friend. Blessings!

My big goal for tomorrow is to clean out the refrigerator. Need to do it quick before I make another trip to the grocery store.

Most people think of home improvement as a costly thing. I have just read somewhere that cleaning is a good way of improving your home… and I have to tell the blogger was so right about this. You do not need to spend a lot on a regular basis, just make sure to clean all corners in your house and you will love the results. It feels like moving in again. What kind of floors do you have? Do you have wooden floors? I can tell they are easy to clean.
