Hey Y'all,
Here I am in New Market, Tennessee sitting in the living room of the bed and breakfast where I will be spending the night tonight. My good friends, Gene and Judy, arranged for my stay here for me as a birthday gift. My daughter, Teresa and husband,Tom came up and are spending the day with me. They arrived here at about one o'clock this afternoon and we had lunch at the Gondolier Restaurant in Jefferson City and YUM! It was delicious! Teresa and I had Spana Kopita, which is like spinach pie. It is triangular shaped in flaky crust. I had not had it since the last I ate there about a year ago.

My flight from DFW was uneventful and pleasant. I am writing this on Teresa's I PAD, which I am somewhat unfamiliar with, so it will not be my usual long and witty epistle.Ha. I have been staying witH my sister in law, Mae, who will be 92 years old in November and still gets around pretty good, with all things considered. About four weeks ago, she fell at the Cracker Barrel, which is one of our favorite eating places, and injured her collarbone and bruised herself up pretty badly. She is much better than she was and doesn't have to wear her right arm in a sling any more. I have been making our breakfast each morning. We went out to eat at another of our favorite places on Wednesday evening, Louis' restaurant. They serve the best spaghetti we have ever eaten.

On Thursday I met three teacher friends of mine at a little tea room and had lunch in one of their back rooms. We sat there for two hours and you should have heard us (or maybe not)...I am sure we must have sounded like we were having a wild party back there. We all taught together for many years and always had good times together. Those two hours were like good medicine to me.

I will be reporting more good times when I get home to Texas next week. With pictures to boot. This is Blabbin' Grammy signing off for now. More later. much love to each of you, my friends and family. Bye for now.

Yesterday, my niece, Norma, who is Mae's daughter, took Mae, Imazo, and me to the Texas Roadhouse F
