I suppose if the food is on top I might be able to eat out of a dumpster, if I really really had to..haha

Hi, Pat
According to what I have read about dumpster diving, much of the food thrown out is in plastic bags. I have no personal experience with it. Nor would I really want to.

A tale of survival on the streets....always good to have a few "outside the box" solutions to problems up your sleeve.

Oh Grammy, it seems I know where every single bathroom is wherever we go. I drink a lot of water and coffee so it seems when we go out and about I always need one :) I love the fact that you blog! Good for you!

I really enjoy your writing style, the choices you make for wording relay an image without distracting from the story. Thank you for stopping by my blog, I may have missed yours if you had not.

This is a great story! It really makes you feel for people that are forced to survive one day at a time. Julie

Great story.

This story reminded me of my trips downtown where I know the locations of many restrooms, such as the fourth level of the shopping center way in the back where almost no one walks.

Your writing style is very clean and easy to read. I felt that I knew the protagonist.

You really are covering the bases here. I've thought about the restroom issue. When I'm traveling it's a concern. If one were homeless they'd really have to make note of the restrooms and have back-up plans. What a struggle to live on the streets for me, but I guess it's what some people prefer or adapt to.

Great series, Grammy.
