Yoo Hoo! Here I Am, Again.

Hey, Y'all,
I know it has been a long time since I last posted (last year), and now I am going to try to catch up. I have been so very busy over the past week making a quilt for Tom to match the one I made for Teresa and today I sent it by FedEx to them. You might say, I have been in hibernation in the house and have not been out except on Sundays and Wednesdays, because I really wanted to get the quilt finished. (I know it must be cold in Arkansas, ha). Once I begin a project, I work until I get it done.

Tomorrow I begin doing a quilt for Carol's queen size bed. I began the design for it this afternoon.

This morning, I went first to my family doctor's office to get prescriptions written for meds that had no refills remaining, and then on to the FedEx Office to send Tom's quilt; from there, I proceeded to Lowe's to make some purchases. Mickey D's was next and I had breakfast. Later on I shopped at Kroger's and picked up some of my medications, along with some groceries.

I was back home by noon, and decided it would be a good time to sweep my living room floor, which was littered with scraps of cloth, quilt batting, and thread where I had been sewing.

Teresa sent me a picture of her grandson, Roman, and his mom with the quilt that I made for him. It warmed my heart to see him so happy with it. Here is the picture. B.J. is behind the camera, taking the picture. Ha.

Great Grandson, Roman, and his mom, Madora
Roman does look really happy, doesn't he? I am so glad I made the quilt for him. It was a labor of love, as all my quilts are.

Here is a picture of my great granddaughter, Hannah, with the purse I made for her for Christmas. She looks mighty happy, too.

Well, now you know what I have been up to the past ten days. Oh, yeah, I did get a much-needed haircut last week. My hair looked like a dandelion's fluff ready to blow away before I got it cut. Ha ha.

On Monday of this week, I went back to my eye surgeon and he was delighted with the progress my vision has made since he removed the scar tissue from my left eye. He has scheduled me to do the same thing on my right eye in a couple of weeks. I hope and pray that it will go as well as the last one did. My vision has improved so much, you wouldn't believe it. I asked him if I could give him a hug and he smiled and said, "Of course, that makes it all worthwhile."

We had a lot of rain from Sunday evening through Tuesday morning, so it made staying inside and sewing quite cozy. We had a beautiful sunny day today, but we have a cold snap coming up tonight with cool days on order for the rest of the week and maybe more rain by Sunday.

Well, that is about it for today. This is Blabbin' Grammy signing off for now. More later. Much love to each of you, my friends and family. Bye for now.
