Sunshine Today

Hey, Y'all,
Sunshine today and temperature near 80 degrees is how it is here in northeast Texas. I got up this morning and decided it was time for me to emerge from my domicile for awhile. My Shingles are feeling better, and after I logged on to my computer for awhile, I took my shower, got dressed, and went out into my garage, climbed into my little red jitney, and emerged from the dark of the Batcave into the sunshine.

I decided to eat breakfast out, so I went to one of my favorite breakfast places to eat, and enjoyed my too much breakfast at LePeep's. From there, I motored on over to Target and shopped for about an hour, flipping the goods over, and not buying them, then went through the grocery aisles and bought a few necessities, and came on back home. So that is about it for what I have accomplished for today, but I am feeling less closed in. I can look around me and see a lot that needs to be done, but it can wait (it has so far, ha ha). I am just glad to be up and about again, feeling almost human.

Teresa has gone back to work and is thrilled to be there, since she has been in seclusion for the past six months, dealing with her cancer at home, and she is now doing the radiation treatment for the next several months, but is able to be back at work while undergoing those. Everyone was so happy to see her (I can only imagine) as well as how happy she is to be back! Thank you all so very much for your prayers, and please continue to remember her and Tom, because she has fatigue and exhaustion yet to deal with.

God bless each of you, my friends and family! This is Blabbin' Grammy signing off for today. Bye for now. More later.

Yvonne, so glad you had a good time in Nashville, and it's great to hear from you again.
Lea, thanks and yes, when Dub and I lived in an apt in Jefferson City, TN, we had an attached garage that of course was dark when the garage door was closed, and I would always say upon our leaving it in our car, "And here we go, leaving our Batcave once again.." Ha ha

Looks like the weather map has done a reversal of what it was a couple weeks back. Now it's chilly and rainy in Los Angeles. I've been so chilled of late (though it's only in the 50s--not that cold!) Yesterday I saw on the computer that it was warmer in East Tennessee than it was here in Southern California.
Glad you've been out and about.

That's great you are feeling better and getting out in the sunshine. Is your car as fancy as Batman's? :o)

I'm so glad you're enjoying the warmer weather there. Send some our way? I guess I can't complain, we did have a couple of days in the 50's. Even went for a walk the last two days. It's good to be out - isn't it?
We'll keep praying for Teresa and Tom. May the Lord give her extra strength and of course - healing.
Hugs to you my friend,
Deb

I think we'll be getting a little snow here tonight, Ruby. Your 80 degrees sounds nice. I'm happy to hear you're getting some relief from the shingles. I've heard that's very miserable. It's good news that Teresa has gone back to work. It may be exhausting, but the extra moral support can sure help.
