Hey, Y'all,
It has been a full day of not a lot of doing. I am feeling kind of sleepy, but will do my posting on the blog for you all. I was up this morning at 7:30, and decided to work on Will's quilt while waiting to eat breakfast. Then I had breakfast and read awhile.
I worked some more on the quilt and then took a shower and began drinking water for my ultrasound. The instructions were to drink between 32 and 40 ounces of water within 1 and 1/2 hours before the ultrasound test. So I split the happy medium and drank 36 ounces. While I was drinking, I was watching television and stitching quilt.
At 11: 36 I was out the door and on my way to the local hospital to face the test. It was not pleasant, but not undoable, so I made my way through it, and headed on to Jefferson City where I had to stop at the grocery store and drug store. I got back home to discover that Gramps had not eaten his breakfast because he said he was afraid he would spill the milk. I told him that if he had spilt it, what could he do? He said, clean it up. I said, yes. He had been up ready to eat (almost) when I had to leave for the hospital. I never dreamed he would not have done so.
Anyway, I got him up and fed him. This evening, Judy is going to be bringing our supper from the church. Thank goodness for great neighbors and friends! I know my girls miss being here during this time, but they give their thanks to those who are helping us out during these days before surgery (I assume I will have to have). Teresa is planning on coming up to help out during and following the surgery. Carol would love to be able to, but she has agreed to let Teresa do it this time.
Well, that is about it for today, friends. BTW, I hear that an arrest was made of two men who have been scamming seniors out of their goods, and hopefully, they are the ones who scammed my sister-in-law, Mae, out of her stuff. I will hear more of that in the days to come, I am sure.
This is Blabbin' Grammy signing off for today. Love to all of you. Bye for now.

I am glad you are up and around and able to work on the quilt and that Judy is bringing you something for dinner. What great friends and neighbors you two have. I hope it is nothing very serious and you are all better very soon. I am thinking of you and praying for you. Hugs, Judy
